Energy Systems Monitoring System

The green plan that Europe and the world are implementing is unprecedented. The construction of large production plants, especially photovoltaic systems, which are our primary focus, necessitates the development of initiatives to monitor these installations and optimize energy production.

Imagine a vast expanse of solar panels in a field or on the rooftop of a building. In the event of specific weather conditions, such as snowfall, energy production can drop significantly due to partial or complete coverage of the panels. Similarly, dust deposits carried by the wind or bird droppings can accumulate over time, reducing the efficiency of the system and thereby diminishing the return on investment.

Colostrum EOOD has developed a monitoring system that tracks real-time energy production for individual clusters of solar panels. By constructing a historical and automated production analysis, we can compare it with real-time production data and correlate it with instant light detection to identify drops in efficiency caused by dirt accumulation on the panel surfaces.

Our automated system can intervene by spraying water onto the panels to clean their surfaces. This water can be mixed with surfactant cleaning solutions designed to remove dirt and maximize the performance of each solar cell.

In the case of snowfall, an antifreeze solution can be automatically diluted and sprayed to keep the panel surfaces clean, even in the presence of snow or ice.

The cleaning liquid is entirely biodegradable and non-polluting, and it can also be recovered, purified, and reused.

The continuous real-time monitoring data can be used for remote energy production supervision, ensuring maximum efficiency in energy exchange with the grid or with users in off-grid scenarios. Unlike other management systems, Colostrum EOOD’s solution can specifically measure each panel cluster, detect the natural efficiency degradation over time, and plan necessary replacement or maintenance cycles accordingly.
